This photo has been taken with Rule of thirds in mind. The Tree on the left is the main part of the rule of thirds with the footpath in view here too. Rest of the photo shows the Lake when it was low the foreground is now filled with much more water. The tree helps balance the photo out otherwise it would be boring if it was all water. I can see why rule of thirds is important.
