layering effects in photography
This merged image I did in the photography class came up well,
I think the flower helps set it off a lot. Only three images used to
make this finished result.

Removal of crack in road
The Spot Healing Tool is great and was easy to use to remove the large crack in the middle of the road and where the two men are standing there is no evidence of it now. A very effective tool that does a great job.

Fast Shutter Speed
This photo taken at 1/1000 of a second can see this freezes the image
as the subject is moving quite fast along the road. It looks like it is
standing still. I think this is a really effective shot of what the fast shutter speed can
capture.
Blurred image caused by Slow Shutter Speed
Car moving as normal, blurred image is present from slow shutter speed of 1/60.
This is a moment caught in time. Please refer to fast shutter speed for difference
in images. I found this effective and the shutter speed differences speak for themselves
in their own images of a moving vehicle.
Macro flowers
Learning to get closer than I thought I could to these flowers was interesting.
The Macro setting is interesting to use on the camera, I like the above results a lot and it shows
the flowers in a whole different perspective to the normal photo taking way.

Coloursing a B&W Image
Colourising the image with paint brush tool to colour with and the eyedropper tool to choose the same colour when needed in the same areas. I enjoyed learning this and find the end result colourful. A good exercise to learn with using the opacity as well for the colour not to be to strong in some areas more than other areas.

Using Photoshop Tools
Tools used were the pencil tool, blur tool, smudge tool, brush tool, different colours used to enhance the above effects. The clouds were not touched just left as they are, adds to the overall effect. It was fun doing this, just where blue is in water I did not know how to fix it.

Yacht on Lake Ocean Ripple jpg
Yacht on Lake
I went through the Photoshop exercises and came up with this result, I like a lot.
I used the Filter, went through different things settled on this result.
Advertising exercise2 research
This add has a good strong background colour and is effective in showing up the shoes and text in an effective way. The shoe colours and styles really stand out I thought in this add. The blue tones work very well and the orange gives it a good lift and breaks up the background colour well.
Advertisement exercise
I found this add has good colours and the text on the products and
in the heading etc, really stands out to the viewers it is intended for.
I liked the products and thought this add was very effective.
The soft browny, orange line draws the eye into the image more than it would without it. The small blue line underneath it helps to add effect too. The colours blend in well together and the shadow effect in front of the products is very nice to the viewer as well I think. All the white space around the images make them stand out more so overall the above adverisement is very effective for what it is intended for. The only drawback I see is the text is far too small for the viewer to see at a glance and could be condensed down for the viewers's advantage and the advertiser's as well. Overall a good advertisement otherwise.

My Poster of Image &Text exercise
Local picture of Collins Park I took. I think it is laid out well and the different coloured
text helps to make it stand out more which makes it easier to read.
Advertisement of toys
The colour red is prominent in this advert as it stands out
the most and shows some of the products up well that are for
sale. The white background I find to be different to the norm
it shows up the products better this way I feel. Overall it stands
out well with little to distract the viewer/s attention. That's what
advertising is all about, drawing the eyes into the products for sale.
